SDE I, Appscrip — Apr 2024 – Present
- Improved frontend performance by optimizing SSR/CSR rendering, lazy loading components, parallelizing API requests, and reducing bundle size — cutting initial render time from ~250ms to ~20ms (~92% reduction) while improving Core Web Vitals scores.
- Built the drag-and-drop email template builder for HouseOfApps' marketing dashboard — a lightweight, CRM-personalized email composer built on a custom simple CSS engine, shipped to production.
- Spearheaded the development of an RBAC-driven Agentic CRM, architecting workflow orchestration systems that enable businesses to create custom automations, integrate AI agents, and manage end-to-end firm operations using Next.js, TypeScript.
- Built a flexible no-code/low-code AI workflow engine, enabling users to design complex workflows, orchestrate AI agents, automate CRM actions, and execute business processes through dynamic workflow composition and event-driven automation.
- Architected a scalable, LLM-powered chatbot platform for STIHL (a manufacturing company) with modular widget-based UI, dynamic sidebars, and RBAC-driven granular permissions for secure, customisable user experiences using NextJS.
- Developed a real-time chat plugin using StencilJS, MQTT and StorybookJS for seamless cross-framework integration with features like offline message support, groupchat etc.
- Built a centralised auth abstraction layer to standardise token storage and session management across multiple authentication providers (Google OAuth, Supabase magic links, and custom APIs) using TypeScript.
- Developed a production-ready deployment orchestration API with webhook integration, real-time status tracking, and automated Coolify deployment management using TypeScript, Node.js.
- Wrote detailed code-review guidelines and custom rules/skills for Cursor AI to standardize AI-assisted code generation across the team. Independently drove 4 concurrent projects while leading and mentoring a team of 3 developers, and ramped up 2 junior engineers.
PROJECTS
MyFitRiwaaz — Multi-Vendor Marketplace Platform (Freelance)

- Built the platform end-to-end (frontend + backend) as a multi-vendor marketplace where a single user can also onboard as a vendor, listing and managing products alongside their own purchases.
- Designed and implemented the vendor payments system - a super-admin-managed settlement flow that processes and disburses payouts to vendors - integrating Stripe for payments, FedEx API for delivery logistics, and Resend for transactional emails.
- Diagnosed and fixed a critical API latency issue (initial response times of ~11s) by co-locating the Railway deployment and Supabase database in the same region (Singapore) and replacing per-request DB connections with a persistent connection pool.
- Implemented a Redis cache-aside strategy to eliminate stale-cache issues while keeping read-heavy endpoints fast.
